My sis is one of those folks who have a super connection with the Spirit. I could count on one hand the number of times the Lord has strategically placed someone like that in my path to speak a word of encouragement. I don’t get creeped out. And there hasn’t yet been a time where she hasn’t been spot on with her “word from the Lord.”
I pay attention when she called on her way home to tell me she had a song for me

As she began singing, I jumped in with the harmonies. Right there in my office, harmonizing and teary-eyed. The song and the meaning were like water to my thirsty soul. That week had been a struggle. The song was exactly what I needed to hear. I needed the shade of God’s perfect love in the form of my sister and the song.
The song was a sweet reminder of the presence of God in the middle of living this crazy life. He’s keeping me, and I don’t have to worry about anything.
Look at God, throwing beautiful and a protective shade(Psalm 121:5)
