It’s important to note that Spiritual Direction isn’t the same as pastoral counseling or psychological counseling or psychotherapy. Those focus on solving problems or reaching specific goals, but Spiritual Direction is all about centering your life on God and noticing how He’s working in your life right now.
It’s also different from coaching or mentoring, where you might have specific goals or action plans. Spiritual Direction is more about being present with God. While coaching and counseling have their own benefits, Spiritual Direction can be a unique part of your spiritual journey, complementing these practices. The focus of spiritual directioin is to notice God’s activity as He invites you into a deeper relationship in the middle of what you’re experiencing.

My journey began in my parents’ church in Miami, FL, where I found my passion for singing and leading worship. Over the past two decades, I’ve had the privilege of performing professionally and serving various churches through musical worship. I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Miami. I trained in musical performance at the University of Miami Frost School of Music, which has enriched my ability to connect with others.
Currently, I’m a licensed Worship Pastor at Eastlake Church in San Diego, CA, where I provide strategic leadership for the Worship and Production Staff across our church locations. Beyond this, I love equipping leaders nationwide, empowering women through mentorship, workshops, and speaking engagements. My path to Spiritual Direction was born from deep personal grief, inspiring me to help leaders in both the church and marketplace deepen their spiritual formation through scripture and prayer.
I’m also currently training in Spiritual Direction through the Leadership Transformations’ Selah Program. This program offers a beautiful blend of biblically based contemplative practice and community, all aimed at nurturing a deeper connection with the Triune God.
