We love to just hanging out and being together. Isn’t that a trippp!! After all theses years??!! There were times over the course of our marriage that it wasn’t always that way.

You can imagine working together, living together, doing life together and being parents together. It’s a lot of together.

Even though we work together, live together after all that, I love hanging out and just being us—together.
You just love me for me. I don’t have to be anyone else. That’s the greatest gift of all.

You are here. You are holy. We are standing in the light of Your promise, full of hope and assurance. Knowing that the storms will come. We may feel fear and anxiety, disappointments and frustrations that life will hand us, God with us. God is for us.

Our Deliverer, our Savior – in Your presence we find our strength!
Over everything, our redemption. God with us🙏🏾

As we step into 2025, take a moment to pause and thank Jesus for His faithfulness in your life.

🎄✨There’s a special kind of joy that fills a home when your adult sons come back for Christmas. It’s not frantic…it’s got a cool vibe. These days, the moments are fewer and farther between, which makes them all the more precious.🥹

When your kids grow up and move out, life shifts in ways you don’t fully anticipate. The house feels quieter, the dinner table emptier. The months seem to stretch longer, punctuated by check-in calls, updates, and the occasional visit. And then, all at once, they’re baccckkk! 🙌🏾🙌🏾
We’ve learned to treasure the time when we’re all together.

This season, I remind myself to:
🌟 Hold on to the joy.
🌟 Hold on to the love.
🌟 Ponder the moments and revel in them. 🎶

Celebrate the mystery of the child in a manger as the promise of hope. God is with us!

Just like a pie, we are works in progress. The sugary juices of grace need time to rest, blend, and transform. 🍯 The dough needs to be shaped and folded by careful hands. And the oven—God’s timing—needs to do its work. ⏳🔥

To ‘let the Holy Spirit cook’ is to trust in a God who knows what He’s doing. 🙌🏽💛

“I don’t have time for rest.” When one of

“I don’t have time for rest.”

When one of my leaders—a single mama balancing ministry, life, and everything in between—said this during a recent session on rest, it hit me hard. I’ve been there. Life keeps moving, and rest feels like a luxury we can’t afford.

Especially during the holiday grind. My sons call Christmas and Easter the “Super Bowl of church services,” and I’ve finished more than one Christmas Eve service ready to throw in the towel. Rest? Not now.

And yet, I’ve realized something: Rest isn’t just about stopping. It’s about a posture. A mindset. A purpose. Intention.

Even when life doesn’t slow down, your soul can find moments to breathe. It’s about learning to pause—even in busyness.

1. Take a breath – Pause in your car 🚗 and take three deep breaths. 🌬️
2. Take five – Look at the sky 🌤️ and let your mind wander for a moment. 🌌
3. Take a beat – Turn the music up 🎶 or the noise down 🔇 on your commute.

Isaiah 40:31 says: “But those who entwine their hearts with Yahweh will experience divine strength.”

Rest starts here: entwining your heart with God, one small moment at a time.

He’s right there, in every moment of waiting. 🤲🏾

He’s heard every song, every prayer whispered over your family, your mind, your body, your spirit. Every quiet cry, every word spoken in faith, He’s in the waiting.

@loriwilhite shared a powerful message prior to this song—calling the women @leadinglovingit conference to watch and wait and encounter his miraculous presence.

This weekend @hosanna.wong shared the message at eastlakechurch reminding us all of the power and presence of God to strengthen while you wait. Praising God for these reminders this #tbt 🙌🏾

And while we wait, we worship. In the beautiful mess of the middle, we find the Presence of God – steady, faithful, and close.

In Loving Memory: A Tribute to My Mom

✨🦋 Today marks four years since my mom went home to be with Jesus. It’s almost surreal to think it’s been that long. She loved us deeply, and even more so, she loved God. While the mysteries of heaven are beyond my understanding, I trust that she’s in the presence of the One she cherished most—grace, love, and peace personified. 🌈🙏🏾

There aren’t enough words to capture how much I miss her. Her wisdom, her encouragement, her joy—there’s a piece of my heart that remains empty without her. Yet, even within this sorrow, I’m grateful for how she poured herself into my sisters and me. She planted seeds of dignity, strength, and ambition that we carry forward, honoring her legacy every day. I picture her confidently walking into any room, just as she did here, grounded in her faith and pursuing her purpose with passion. 💐👑

When grief chimes, I also feel joy for the privilege of having a mom who celebrated me and lifted me up. I think of the Monarch butterfly, a symbol of resilience, grace, and purpose—a legacy-bearer, not living for itself alone but for generations to come. That’s who she was. Her final breath was taken during an all-night prayer with my dad, her heart steadfast until the end. She knew, as I do now, that our strength doesn’t come from ourselves but from the One who sustains us. 🌌🕊️

My prayer is that my sons, Sam and Nate, see in me the same unwavering faith and courage that I saw in her. I want them to know they carry that same strength, planted deep within them by the love of a remarkable grandmother. 🌻💫

Let this be our prayer, our testament—amen and amen. 💖🙏🏾

My sisters and I were truly blessed to have a mother who saw us, prayed for us, and always kept encouraged us to pursue our passions, love each other and love God. I miss her presence every single day. 🕊️🦋

I believe that when physical and spiritual needs meet, transformation happens. To bring Jesus’ love to hurting communities, we must care for every need—body, heart, and soul. So grateful to walk this path with @loriwilhite , @noelyeatts , the beautiful ladies who traveled together on this trip(I love ya’ll❤️) and the @world_help team, as well as the incredible women of @leadinglovingit everyone pouring into these communities.

Huge shoutout to @centrallive for bringing this moment to life that lifted our hearts. 🎶🌍

It’s impossible to capture in a few words what it’s like to gather with other believers singing about the WayMaker, MiracleWorker, Promise Keeper on the @leadinglovingit trip to Africa, but here’s a glimpse. ✨ This moment at the conference was nothing short of powerful. It was the women of this conference that gave the $23,000 it would take to build that well.

We counted it an honor to pray over Pastor Joseph and his beautiful wife, Bernadette in the small village of Kabangazo. When we asked their greatest need, their answer was clear: “clean water.” 💧❤️

Their community’s closest water source has spoiled, leaving only one option—a 90-minute walk to open ponds shared with animals. Even then, the water has to be boiled before it’s safe for drinking or cooking. Pastor Joseph’s hope? That bringing clean water to his community will open doors to introduce them to the Living Water that never runs dry. 🕊️💦

Forever changed by this journey. ❤️

Who gathered.
Who prayed.
Who gave.
Who worshipped.
Who celebrated. 🙌

My heart is so full. 💖

What an incredible honor to be part of the @leadinglovingit team, running alongside amazing women leaders and supporting local churches across the globe. 🌍

These women are my tribe, and I’m grateful for every moment shared together. Thank you and the lovely in mind and spirit @loriwilhite and @lovebrandiwilson for allowing me to be a part. It’s changed my life.

As we traveled to Africa with @world_help @noelyeatts and @leadingandlovingit, we had the incredible goal of being an *Ephesians 3:20 kind of blessing* to the communities we visited. Praise to the One who is more than able! 🙏🏾
