It’s a season of writing. ✍🏽
And yes—the deadline is very real.

Here’s my truth: It’s hard to write when you’re healing. But it’s also when I feel God pulling me closer—asking me to listen more. To slow down more and pay attention to what the Holy Spirit is saying in the middle of the grief, the fear, the “I’m not enough” days.

This book is for every woman who’s holding it all together but still wondering, “Lord, we don’t know what to do, but our eyes are on You.” (2 Chronicles 20:12)

Faith isn’t just a feeling—it’s the substance of what we hope for. It’s real, even when life feels like too much.

Will you pray for me? 🙏🏾The struggle is real, and the margin in my life not. Taking the message on my heart and sharing it is sccarrry. Vulnerability is scary. But I’m showing up. Let’s pray and wait on Him together. 🦋

I also get the awesome honor of leading this amazing crew of @eastlakeworship & Production staff — and they SHOWED UP IN TOO MANY WAYS TO COUNT!

Highlights from the weekend:
• Good Friday set the tone — deep, powerful, holy moments ✝️
• Resurrection Sunday brought the JOY — full of life and light ✨
• So many hearts turning back to God — encounters everywhere 🔥
• We made space, and God filled it.

That’s our WHY. 🕊️

We love to just hanging out and being together. Isn’t that a trippp!! After all theses years??!! There were times over the course of our marriage that it wasn’t always that way.

You can imagine working together, living together, doing life together and being parents together. It’s a lot of together.

Even though we work together, live together after all that, I love hanging out and just being us—together.
You just love me for me. I don’t have to be anyone else. That’s the greatest gift of all.

You are here. You are holy. We are standing in the light of Your promise, full of hope and assurance. Knowing that the storms will come. We may feel fear and anxiety, disappointments and frustrations that life will hand us, God with us. God is for us.

Our Deliverer, our Savior – in Your presence we find our strength!
Over everything, our redemption. God with us🙏🏾

As we step into 2025, take a moment to pause and thank Jesus for His faithfulness in your life.

🎄✨There’s a special kind of joy that fills a home when your adult sons come back for Christmas. It’s not frantic…it’s got a cool vibe. These days, the moments are fewer and farther between, which makes them all the more precious.🥹

When your kids grow up and move out, life shifts in ways you don’t fully anticipate. The house feels quieter, the dinner table emptier. The months seem to stretch longer, punctuated by check-in calls, updates, and the occasional visit. And then, all at once, they’re baccckkk! 🙌🏾🙌🏾
We’ve learned to treasure the time when we’re all together.

This season, I remind myself to:
🌟 Hold on to the joy.
🌟 Hold on to the love.
🌟 Ponder the moments and revel in them. 🎶

Celebrate the mystery of the child in a manger as the promise of hope. God is with us!

🎄🎁 Merry Christmas from our fam to yours!

Just like a pie, we are works in progress. The sugary juices of grace need time to rest, blend, and transform. 🍯 The dough needs to be shaped and folded by careful hands. And the oven—God’s timing—needs to do its work. ⏳🔥

To ‘let the Holy Spirit cook’ is to trust in a God who knows what He’s doing. 🙌🏽💛

Rest. Trust. Wait. 🦋

“I don’t have time for rest.” When one of

“I don’t have time for rest.”

When one of my leaders—a single mama balancing ministry, life, and everything in between—said this during a recent session on rest, it hit me hard. I’ve been there. Life keeps moving, and rest feels like a luxury we can’t afford.

Especially during the holiday grind. My sons call Christmas and Easter the “Super Bowl of church services,” and I’ve finished more than one Christmas Eve service ready to throw in the towel. Rest? Not now.

And yet, I’ve realized something: Rest isn’t just about stopping. It’s about a posture. A mindset. A purpose. Intention.

Even when life doesn’t slow down, your soul can find moments to breathe. It’s about learning to pause—even in busyness.

1. Take a breath – Pause in your car 🚗 and take three deep breaths. 🌬️
2. Take five – Look at the sky 🌤️ and let your mind wander for a moment. 🌌
3. Take a beat – Turn the music up 🎶 or the noise down 🔇 on your commute.

Isaiah 40:31 says: “But those who entwine their hearts with Yahweh will experience divine strength.”

Rest starts here: entwining your heart with God, one small moment at a time.

He’s right there, in every moment of waiting. 🤲🏾

This weekend @hosanna.wong shared the message at eastlakechurch reminding us all of the power and presence of God to strengthen while you wait. Praising God for these reminders this #tbt 🙌🏾

And while we wait, we worship. In the beautiful mess of the middle, we find the Presence of God – steady, faithful, and close.
